City Club of Denver invites you to explore how recent changes in campaign finance laws have significantly changed the nature of political discourse, campaign strategies and voter engagement. Political recalls, an increase in negative campaign ads, an influx of major donors and the unchecked power of super PACs and other political groups have all resulted in high levels of distrust and even disgust with government. Chantell Taylor will discuss what we are likely to see in the next election cycle, and what can be done to reverse this trend.
