ABOUT ALISON FELIX
Alison Felix is assistant vice president and Denver Branch executive with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. She serves as the Bank’s regional economist in the states of Colorado, Wyoming and northern New Mexico. She also works closely with the Branch’s board of directors. Ms. Felix’s research interests fall primarily in the field of public finance with an emphasis on tax policy. Her current research focuses on local tax incentives and the incidence of state and national corporate taxes. Secondary research interests include state and local government finance, labor economics and the economics of education. Prior to being named Denver Branch executive, Ms. Felix served as a senior economist in the Regional Affairs Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. She has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan. She also holds an M.A. in economics from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Kansas State University.
