ABOUT DEBRA FAULKNER
Raised in Loveland, Debra Faulkner comes by her passion for Colorado history honestly. She earned her B.S. in Education from the University of Colorado and her Masters in Public History from CU-Denver. She is a longtime volunteer with History Colorado: The Colorado Historical Society and a former Anschutz fellow with the CHS. As a board member of the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame, she managed the organization’s archives and its ongoing oral history project, collecting the life stories of both historical and contemporary inductees.
Faulkner has written 7 books...including Ladies of the Brown: A women's History of Denver's Most Elegant Hotel."Faulkner serves as Hotel Historian and Archivist since 2008 for the venerable Brown Palace. She regularly portrays extraordinary women from Colorado’s past in first-person programs around the state.
