From an economic perspective, 2016 has come in like a lion. The lingering effects of some disappointing December figures, coupled with China’s stock market plunge and currency devaluation seems to be having a material effect on the U.S. stock market and overall economy. Please join us for an insightful look into the economy in 2016 and beyond. We enthusiastically welcome back Tom Binnings, a returning City Club speaker and Senior Partner at Summit Economics. His presentation this year will focus on longer term fundamentals impacting the national and regional economic outlook with some insight into the Chinese challenge in the 21st century. We look forward to discussing these topics with Colorado’s own widely respected economist.
