Tom co-founded Summit Economics in 2008 and has 40 years of experience in applied economics, analytics, decision support, and strategic planning. With clients including businesses, nonprofit organizations, developers, and local governments, he brings data driven perspectives to improve effectiveness and efficiency in the realms of community and commercial development. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Colorado College and his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College with an emphasis in finance and strategy. Tom teaches graduate courses at Regis and Webster Universities in Colorado and Sichuan, China. He enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, and keeping up with his five children and step-children and is splitting his time between Colorado, northern Arizona and southwestern China.
